THE GLENCAIRN AISLE WILL BE

THIS SATURDAY 4th Sept 11am -
3pm
It is situated behind the
church in Kilmaurs
COME AND SEE
It contains a wonderful
monument sculpted in the year 1600
It shows the Earl of
Glencairn and his family
He is wearing a suit of
armour with his helmet beside him
The sculpture of his wife
includes intricately carved lace
There
is no entrance fee, but we are raising money for the preservation of the
monument, so donations will be gratefully received.
Tea and biscuits will be
available in the churchyard.
